Annual Harvest Festival

October 30th
11 AM to sundown
4229 Forest

The Harvest Fest at Manheim gardens is a multicultural, multigenerational celebration of the changing seasons. This year, we’re going all out. We’ve invited dozens of creative vendors to share their wares with the community, including henna artists, vegan eateries, tarot readers, visual artists, and more.

Be entertained with ghost stories by playwrights at KC Public Theatre, musical talent from as far away as Portland, Oregon, and a special Dia De Los Muertos art exhibit. All ages can enjoy the sugar skulls art booth, vegetable harvests, self-guided tours, and of course, our lively yard birds. Manheim Gardens has partnered up with local Troost business Harvest Moon Botanica and Soul Child Awakenings to put on the boldest bash the neighborhood has ever seen! Come see for yourself–

As a budding neighborhood organization, we are always looking for volunteers. If you feel especially strongly about the land, and the people that live with it—please reach out to us at with the subject line “I would like to help”
